The Service is operated by Star Worldwide Trading Limited, a business established under the laws of England and Wales (“Service Provider”).

The Service allows users (“Users”) to create, purchase, and receive digital or printed photos suitable for official documents (e.g., passports, visas, ID cards). Orders may be delivered digitally, by post, or made available for pick-up depending on service options.

Browsing the website is free. Fees apply only when placing an order.


2. User Guidelines

  • The Service is intended for individuals aged 16 or older.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring that uploaded photos comply with the requirements of their intended document authority.
  • To use the Service, Users must have a compatible device with internet access and a browser that accepts cookies.
  • By purchasing a Product, Users agree they may be contacted by InstaIDPhoto or review partners to provide feedback to improve service quality.

3. Responsibilities of the Service Provider

InstaIDPhoto agrees to deliver Products that are suitable for their described purpose and free from defects.

We are not responsible for:

  • Service interruptions caused by third-party networks, platforms, or internet providers.
  • Any delays or failures caused by force majeure events, including natural disasters, system outages, or external disruptions.
  • User-submitted photo content that does not meet official standards (e.g., incorrect head size, poor lighting, facial expression).
  • Delays in delivery of printed Products due to courier or postal service issues, including failure to deliver within the lead time stated on the Review Order or Checkout pages. While we dispatch printed orders promptly, final delivery is subject to the handling and schedule of third-party delivery providers.

4. Acceptance of Terms

The use of the Service and the placing of any order requires acceptance of these Terms. If not, please refrain from using the Service. Continued use of the Service following any changes to this Policy will be considered as acceptance of those changes.


5. Ordering Products

  • After uploading and previewing their photo, the User may select and purchase Products (digital, printed, retouched, expert-reviewed).
  • All prices listed include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include card payments, PayPal, or local payment processors.
  • Product delivery occurs via:
    • Email/download (for digital files)
    • Postal services (for printed Products)
    • Third-party pickup locations (if available)

By selecting delivery or pick-up, Users agree that we may share necessary information (such as photo and name) with logistics providers for fulfillment purposes.


6. Payment Methods

Available payment options may vary depending on the checkout platform:

  • Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards)
  • Stripe or PayPal
  • Other third-party gateways

Payment processing is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective provider.


7. Complaints and Customer Support

Please include your order number and the reason for your complaint.

We aim to resolve complaints within 14 calendar days. If no response is provided within that time, the complaint shall be deemed accepted.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, under these circumstances:

  • Failed delivery or download of digital Product
  • Printing or quality errors
  • Rejection by an official authority due to non-compliant photo (evidence required)

Refunds in excess of the original purchase value (e.g., goodwill credits) may be issued via PayPal or a UK bank account only.


9. Use of Personal Data

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes photo uploads, order data, payment data, and contact information.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be stored and processed outside the UK or EU (e.g., in the US via Firebase), subject to safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).


10. Limitations of Liability

  • InstaIDPhoto is not responsible for the rejection of a photo due to user error in selecting document type, posture, or lighting.
  • We are not liable for delays or issues caused by postal services or technical problems outside our control.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the User for the disputed Product.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.


12. Modifications

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website at least 14 days prior to taking effect.

Orders placed before the new Terms come into effect will remain subject to the Terms in force at the time of purchase.


13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any legal disclaimers posted on our website, constitute the full agreement between you and InstaIDPhoto.
